Goss plans live book press show for expected 100,000 All in Print attendees

Local hero Goss International will support presentations of its latest newspaper, heatset and packaging solutions at All in Print China next week with a live book printing demonstration.

The WS-D1000 book press developed specifically for the Chinese market will be among Goss exhibits on the stand of parent Shanghai Electric at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre of Pudong, November 14-17.

The company will focus on technologies for newspaper, commercial, book and packaging printing, and show a 2x2 Goss Universal printing tower. Capable of printing at up to 75,000cph it features latest technologies for maximising quality and throughput for newspaper and semicommercial production.

Goss will also showcase its new Sunday Vpak variable repeat packaging technology which draws on its award-winning Sunday press technology.

Featured products from Goss’s sister companies under Shanghai Electric will include Guanghua sheetfed presses, Yawa automatic diecutting and foil stamping machines, SWD paper cutting system, Purlux saddlestichers and perfect binding line, and digital printing solutions.

The show is organised by Messe Düsseldorf and the Printing Technology Association of China, with the theme ‘Synergy of Print and the Digital Era’. More than 100,000 visitors are expected.
