A new version of ECO3’s Apogee workflow adds automation features and improves connectivity, the developer says.

ECO3 says the version 14 release responds to market demands for tighter integration and easier management of complex production processes. It includes synchronisation of Apogee Web Production Schemes with ePS Technique, as part of the ePS Publication Print Suite, simplifying complex, manual production workflows.

In addition to cost-reduction tools such as InkTune and Spira@L, a new module within Apogee Impose, PaperTune is available, optimising the use of makeready sheets.

ECO3 says the update helps commercial printers streamline production, reduce costs and increase efficiency.

A new feature is a Production Dashboard, providing production statistics such as the number of jobs, plates, proofs produced per day, week or month.

“Apogee v14 is designed to help print businesses do more with less,” market manager commercial Erik Peeters said. “It’s about making production faster, more reliable and ready for the future.”
