The old-established Rollin brand is being reinvigorated thanks to a new agency agreement.

Press chemistry manufacturer DS Chemport has been appointed exclusive distributor for the blanket range and will add it to its stable of Vulcan blankets from May 1.

Commercial director Ken Rendell says Trelleborg has shown “great faith not only in our excellent customer relationships and ability to grow the existing market share but also in our converting expertise” with the move.

Since Trelleborg acquired the blanket business of MacDermid Printing Solutions in 2008, a consolidation process has taken place worldwide, resulting in the recent appointment of DS Chemport as the exclusive distributor in Australia and New Zealand (via Fujifilm Chemicals).

Current users of Rollin products have been told of the upcoming distributorship change. Many already have dealings with DS Chemport in other business areas. Rendell says the companyChemport has invested substantially to add further capacity to its existing converting facility in Campbellfield in Melbourne’s north, to ensure a seamless transition.
