Such a project extending over multiple properties will the ‘Exton Journal Register’ in Exton, Pennsylvania, replace an ten-year-old two-into-one VCP configuration with a new Vision Register bender next month to run existing 50" and future 44" web widths.
When new conveyors and benders have been installed, the existing bender will be connected inline for use as an emergency back-up option.
A VCP system has also been modified for a 43” web reduction at the ‘Huntsville Times’ in Alabama, while Canada’s ‘Toronto Star’ has opted for a VCP, Vision Bender inline multi-web punch and bender configuration.
At the ‘Chicago Tribune’, Nela has completed integration of a sixth Evolution system, a Vision punch/bender capable of 300 plates/hour, installed with an existing 80-station Nela sorting system.
Other recent installations include the ‘Anniston Star’ and ‘Dothan Eagle’ (both in Alabama), the ‘Galveston County Daily News’, Beeville Publishing, and the Dallas ‘Midway Press’ (all in Texas), the ‘Washington Missourian’ (Missouri), and Webb Communications.
