Exhibitors are already lining up for Australia's PacPrint 2017 trade show, with the promise that it will follow DRUPA in being dominated by digital print.
Organisers say HP partner Currie Group will again have the largest - right inside the front doors - with HP, Ricoh, Fuji Xerox, Konica Minolta and Canon also securing prime real-estate.
The event - at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from May 23-26 - takes its lead from what has been described as "one of the most exciting DRUPA exhibitions in some years. "Now, it's our turn to connect with the trends and technology first-hand, with more than 13,000 visitors from Australia, New Zealand and the wider Asia Pacific expected," says Peter Harper.
"PacPrint is ideally timed and placed to not only give the region a first-hand look at the latest technological advances and exciting new opportunities which were unveiled at the international show, but also to connect with suppliers," says Harper, trade shows general manager of Visual Connections, which is co-hosting the event with Printing Industries.
"It's always interesting to see how these shows reflect the very dynamic nature of our industry, and at PacPrint 2017 we are looking forward to seeing exciting new technologies in the 3D and functional print space, sitting alongside the very latest solutions in digital, wide-format and conventional print technologies, finishing systems, workflow and software innovations as well as sign and display."
A "very diverse and exciting" PacPrint Forum series and events such as the National Print Awards promise to add interest and excitement.
