An uptick for your TikTok work

A new category for short-form video is among four additions to WAN-Ifra’s South Asian Digital Media Awards.

Entries are open for the competition, with a closing date of October 15.

Short-form video is a genre of content that tells a story in less than 90 seconds, with the awards recognising stories that demonstrate appropriate story format, ease of use and engagement with the audience. Also, the platform the video was published, the idea behind the story and metrics of its reach and shares will be considered.

To enter, register at wan-ifra.awardsplatform.com. More than one entry can be submitted per category.

Categories cover news website; use of video; best newsletter; data visualisation; best digital subscription initiative; trust initiative (new); podcast; audience engagement; best epaper concept (new); digital advertising project* (new); special project for COVID-19/pandemic reporting*; best use of short form video* (new); native advertising/sponsored content campaign*; and Champion Publisher of the Year*.

Categories marked * are regional. The 'Gold' winners from each category are nominated to compete in the World Awards.
