It’s that time of year when anyone with a drop of news ink in their veins was once likely to gravitate to the NEC in Birmingham, UK – or in earlier days, even Earls Court – for the Ipex trade show.
These days, The Print Show – returning for its ninth year from September 23-25, and appropriately co-locating for 2025 with The Sign Show in Hall 3 – is a very different event.
A run of late bookings has seen available exhibitor space fill, but it’s still easier to consider who you might want to visit – and for what additional events – than the much longer list of news industry players who won’t be there.
What you will find is representation from most (but not all) of the inkjet – and inkjet web players should you have ideas in that direction. Look out for Epson, Fujifilm, HP (pictured) – introducing
its new HP Latex R530 all-in-one printer – and Konica Minolta. An interesting programme of talks also spans the three days, and includes a couple of discussions on AI.
