You’re going to have to be quick now if you want a Cubs ticket with your registration for the two-day LMAFest 2025 event in Chicago now less than a month away.
The Taboola-sponsored Tuesday tickets go to the first 120 to register for the Local Media Media Association Fest, taking place from August 18-21 at the Gleacher Center.
But if you’re too late to catch a free night at Wrigley, the programme looks a pretty good consolation, promising two days of “powerhouse programming, actionable insights and next-level networking”.
–opening session is news consumer insights from Google’s Arun Venkataraman;
–a lightning round of revenue ideas you can immediately monetise; top strategies from brilliant local sales leaders;
–smart, scalable approaches to expansion – launching new products, entering new markets or deepening community impact, with Ken Doctor, now chief executive of Lookout Local, among panellists;
–new branded content research from Borrell Associates;
–small table talks featuring rapid-fire, expert-led conversations on topics such as AI, philanthropy and community impact.
– real-world case studies from local newsrooms using AI to streamline operations and spark innovation.
A reminder that LMA local media company members have a number of free registrations to the event as part of their dues value proposition.
Other event sponsors include audience management platform Audience.io, and audience growth and digital transformation tech provider BlueLena, United Robots, Newspack, Blox Digital, Spot-On, Dirks, Van Essen & April, and AdCellerant.
