CTV buy expands Kargo’s ad solutions offering

Advertising solutions provider Kargo has acquired CTV platform VideoByte as part of a major video expansion.

The New York-headquartered company says VideoByte’s viewer-first CTV and OTT platform expands capabilities and fits seamlessly within its broader omnichannel platform including video, publisher tools, exclusive formats, commerce and social.

Kargo founder and chief executive Harry Kargman says VideoByte’s video ad serving technology and distinctive experiences strengthens its mission to deliver deeper and differentiated interactions to audiences.

VideoByte chief executive David Naffis, who join Kargo as CTV general manager, says his team are “in lock-step” with Kargo’s mission. “Their recent growth, scale and reputation as market innovators will accelerate our go-to-market as we continue to push innovating new CTV formats.”

Founded two years ago, VideoByte has integrations across media companies including Viacom, Tegna and LG, as well as the into the industry’s incumbent CTV ad servers and platforms.
