manroland has celebrated the opening of its new Indonesian subsidiary at an inauguration dinner attended by 200 customers and business partners.

PT manroland Indonesia opened last October, with two offices under president director Tim Klappe, both on Java island – the headquarters in Jakarta and another in Surabaya – and a team of 30 people.

“Besides a complete sales and service department for manroland web and sheetfed presses, we are also carrying a complete range of consumable items – such as plates and chemicals – in order to support the performance of the manroland equipment even better,” he says.

The inauguration dinner on April 21 was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Jakarta. The informal dinner provided an opportunity for guests to mingle amid the sounds of a popular jazz band.
