Specialist equipment supplier Richmatt Graphics been appointed agent for Manugraph in Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore.
Based in Selangor Darul Ehsan in Malaysia's capital of Kuala Lumpur, Richmatt has a broad spectrum of agencies covering both print production - where they represent Swedish mailroom systems maker Schur Wamac - and newspaper editorial systems, through Protecmedia.
Other agencies include control technology developer Denex - also from Sweden -Microplex Elektronische Dokumentations-Systeme from Germany, and Taiwanese strapper maker Transpak.
Manugraph is India's largest manufacturer of single-width newspaper presses and has a range which also includes Smartline and Dreamline 4x1 presses. Established in 1972, it also owns Manugraph DGM (now Manugraph Americas) in the US, following the 2006 acquisition of Dauphin Graphic Machines, making it one of the world's largest manufacturers in the single-width segment.
In addition to India's largest publishers, it has a customer base which covers the Americas, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the CIS countries. Manugraph is represented by Ferrostaal elsewhere in the ASEAN region.
Manugraph announced at DRUPA the sale of a new CityLine Express press to AGA Publications, Hyderabad in India, publisher of the Telegu language newspaper Vaartha. The press will consist of four H-type four-colour towers, one F222 Jaw Folder and four integrated autopasters, with delivery expected before the end of the year.
