A project at Jysk Fynske Medier will see the installation of Newscycle Content, as well as upgrades and the addition of users at new properties.

The company was created at the beginning of 2015 as the result of a merger between Jyske Medier, Fynske Medier and Syddanske Medier, and the addition this year of Midtjyske Medier. It is now the second-largest media group in Denmark with 13 daily newspapers, 64 weeklies, five radio stations and a number of news websites.

Some of these were already using Content, and the agreement will see standardisation on the Newscycle platform.

Users will have access to the HTML5-based Newscycle Reporter Client, which connects via mobile devices - and Content Planner for multiplatform sharing and distribution of content and pages.

Chief editor Per Westergård says a "meticulous process" was needed to find the right solution for a complex installation. "Furthermore, we wanted to streamline and align processes in order to create a flexible organisation ready to take on market challenges."

Installation has started and is expected to run until 2017.
