New versions of Newscycle's content and digital solutions feature new tools for collaboration, sharing, planning and control.

Media product strategy director Kelli Chmielorz says the major revenue optimisation features, expanded planning and control options, enhanced collaboration tools, streamlined social content sharing and usability improvements are specifically designed to increase productivity and help the end-user: "The new releases are architected with our customers in mind, and how they can do their jobs more efficiently."

The content planner introduced earlier release has been enhanced with a 'common pages' feature which allows users to plan and create pages while sharing content between multiple pages across many channels. Users simply build the master page, and trigger the system to distribute and automatically update the child pages in an editable page.

Wire handling has been improved - with users able to check for updates at a glance and select the latest version - and there are also improved collaboration tools in "a more efficient environment" for digital editors and contributors.

On revenue optimisation, more vertical products can be created and content repurposed for them. One article can be connected to multiple subscriptions at different levels, and increased revenue recognised through multiple single-sale items.
