An inaugural webinar this week (Thursday) launches a partnership between
INMA and OpenAI aimed at showing news media companies how AI can enhance journalism and operations.
OpenAI media partnerships manager Christina Lim joins INMA’s Jodie Hopperton and Sonali Verma for the webinar on Thursday, October 2, from 10-11.30am New York time.
Hopperton is INMA’s product and tech initiative lead, while Verma leads its GenAI initiative.
INMA promises “some of the smartest minds in news media” collaborating and exploring how AI can be thoughtfully integrated into the industry to benefit journalists, publishers and their audiences.
The inaugural webinar will address the shifting landscape for news media and AI. INMA says its role as a connector of global best practices and strategic insights aligns closely with OpenAI’s commitment to developing AI that benefits people and organisations across industries, including the essential work done by news media and journalists.
The webinar is free to members and registered users of INMA. If you are new to INMA, you can join the webinar by creating a free registered user account. Registration details are here.
WAN-Ifra operates an accelerator programme partnership with OpenAI in May, aimed at helping 100 news publishers fast-track AI adoption.
