A new print newspaper for Queensland’s Western Downs region is the latest member of the Today group.

The new paper – Western Downs Today – launched last weekend offering “expanded coverage of the Darling Downs”, with a $3.00 cover price. It is being sold in newsagents, grocery stores, service stations and other retail outlets in Dalby, Chinchilla, Miles and Tara, with the promise of “more outlets coming”. It has a website and Facebook page.

Published by the South Burnett Today company based in Kingaroy, the paper is partnered with the Goondiwindi Argus and Maranoa Today, both members of the Today News group. Production is 480 km away at Rockhampton, a Manugraph-equipped print site, built by APN News & Media and acquired from News Corp Australia.
