Ahead of its Zaragoza congress event, WAN-Ifra has strengthened its presence in Spain and Latin America with the recruitment of Olga Britto.

A management professional from Colombia with over 25 years’ experience in marketing and advertising, she has been named as director for the two regions, with Raquel González as deputy director.

The group holds its live World News Media Congress in Zaragoza, Spain, from September 28-30. 

Britto launched the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) in Colombia and served as its managing director for 15 years. She was also general director for the Effie Awards Colombia.

González has already worked with WAN-Ifra on Digital Media LATAM, as well iconic events, such as the Edinburgh Film Festival, Tour of Britain and Beltane Fire Festival.
