More big presses go on the market

Tom Loesch's ImPressions Worldwide has taken on a massive project with the clearance of Creel Print in Las Vegas.

The latest casualty of the US' troubled print industry will affect a reported 300 staff, and puts four large heatset presses - including two Sunday 2000s - on the market.

Trade publication Printing Impressions reported that Iowa-based Mittera has bought "select assets", but not the plant or 23,200m2 production facility. Current owner Allan Creel had bought it back from LSC Communications last October ahead of LSC filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
