A QIPC colour register system at Guangxi Daily is being extended following an addition to its Goss press.

The Dutch company will add two mRC-D cameras with mist shields to the system installed in 2013 on a Goss Magnum 65 presses at the Nanning site, to which a four-high tower has been added.

The Chinese media group has origins going back to 1949, and has been customer of QI Press Controls since 2007, when automation systems were installed on its manroland Geoman and Rotoman presses. It publishes more than ten newspaper titles and also prints for commercial customers

"Guangxi Daily is a satisfied client who knows exactly what it's getting from us," says Paul Yu, managing director of QIPC China. "Guangxi Daily is the largest publisher and printer in Guangxi province and as such a key client."
