With the opening of DRUPA, Baldwin Technology added a new spray bar order to recent announcements.

Latest of these is an order for Austria's Mediaprint, following a test on two towers at their Salzburg facility. Some 296 World2 bars will replace older Baldwin Optima spray bars which were part of the presses' original equipment, as part of a larger refurbishment.

At De Persgroep, 48 World2 spray bars are to be installed on a KBA Commander Press in Den Haag, the Netherlands, again replacing Optima units.

Half the number will be commissioned in a first stage by May this year.

Baldwin has launched a new portfolio of Prepac products aimed at optimizing cleaning performance in UV printing. The new series covers blanket and impression cylinder cleaning with new components, initially for sheetfed, where Baldwin has also introduced broadband LED UV technology.
