Control systems upgrades at the Pueblo Chieftain will deliver improved production and diagnostics.

manroland web systems has just completed a second phase at the Southern Colorado daily, modernising servers, drives and unit controls on the Uniset press. Hardware retrofits, an Ethernet network upgrade and the addition of a new server for automation diagnostic will improve diagnostics, security, and performance.

Manroland service consultant Bill Reiser says benefits will be immediate, with the ability to use enhanced diagnostic tools. Press crews will have immediate access not only to the new control system, but to technical expertise and online documentation, with the press engineer and manroland technician able share information.
