Tera integrates web CMS

Tera has introduced integrated web content management for its GN3 editorial system. The facility provides one-click (push-to-publish) publishing to the web, using Tera’s article-based CMS which defines an article structure as part of system configuration, rather than through customisation. Through system configuration, the content publisher may specify a presentation destination for, say a headline, as being for a particular website, website section, print title or section or any combination of sections and media. An article can contain non-printable items such as audio, video, flash, polls and hyperlinks. Tera also supports web-to-print, making content acquired or created on the web accessible to print, as it becomes stored in the main content management database. Among the built-in modules are forums, blogs, image galleries, online forms, polling, reader contribution support and geomapping. Browser-based administration consists of a content manager which is the interface for content editing, and site commander for editing, page-preview and live web view. gx
