New products to exploit digital data in print are part of a KBA strategy for the DRUPA trade show and 2016.

Confidence in the role of print in a digitalised world has prompted the adoption of a new slogan, 'Add more KBA to your day' for the Düsseldorf exhibition.

It emphasises that print applications are an indispensable part of daily lives, with KBA offering technological solutions for a variety of markets from banknotes, through manifold packaging solutions to magazines and newspapers. President and chief executive Claus Bolza-Schünemann says that with its customers, KBA "makes the world more colourful by transferring ink with a high level of precision onto a raft of everyday products.

"We wish to back this claim with our DRUPA motto and trade fair stand. Today print and digital are increasingly going hand-in-hand."

A 'KBA 4.0' strategy aims to take advantage of increasing digitalisation with new products and services, first results of which will be unveiled at the trade show, and with an expanded service portfolio.

KBA will have a 3000 m2 stand in Hall 16 (16C47) at DRUPA (May 31-June10).
