Dominican Republic publisher Diario Libre is extending its Manugraph-DGM pressline again, the third time in just nine years.
Four DGM 440 towers will be integrated into the existing 24-unit, two-folder DGM 440 press in Santo Domingo, with Manugraph Americas-DGM also supplying six new digital motion control drives, four of which will replace existing Fincor equipment.
The equipment comes from the company's Elizabethville, Pennsylvania, plant with the project scheduled for completion by next April.
Established in 2002, Omnimedia added a DGM 440 tower and two DGM 1035 folders in 2012 (pictured), extending the press it installed six years earlier. Diario Libre was one of the first free-circulating tabloids in Latin America.
