More visit, more link as the world looks in on GXpress

GXpress scored record audiences for its websites in June, with more than 45,000* visits during the month.

And statistics show our fame is spreading worldwide, with almost a quarter (23 per cent) of online visitors to our news media technology sites GXpress and GXdigital coming from North America.

Australia and New Zealand still leads the list, with 34 per cent of visitors, while 18 per cent come from southeast Asia and India**.

“We’re delighted that GX is increasingly being relied upon by news media managers throughout the world,” says managing editor Peter Coleman. “We’ve even found our content linked to ‘big name’ publications such as Forbes in recent weeks.”

The GXpress and GXdigital sites attracted almost 700,000 hits and almost 9000 uniques in the period, averaging 1541 visits a day*.

Qubit/Google stats also show that site visitors are coming back more often and staying longer, with a ‘bounce’ rate of 73 per cent and average 1.32min session time**.
