Taking time out from winning at Tetris, Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak is on tour in Australia this month.
A series of half-day seminars under the title, ‘Woz Live – the Apple Story ‘ – sponsored by internet service provider iiNet – takes place in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.
Wozniak joined forces with Steve Jobs in 1976, founding Apple Computer for the launch of his Apple I personal computer, and began a route to success with the Apple II the following year.
He left Apple in 1985, and has been involved in a variety of business and philanthropic ventures. He is currently a director of telephony start-up Jacent and Danger, which develops wireless internet platforms.
In the Woz Live presentations, he reflects on the legacy of chief executive Steve Jobs and their work together.
