How much ‘newspapers’ can you pack into a couple of hours? Print trade show DRUPA has scheduled a morning of discussion into its DrupaCube programme, for those still at the Düsseldorf show on May 15.

• Film-maker Andrew Rossi will share observations from his year documenting the media desk of the ‘New York Times’ and show clips from ‘Page One – The movie: NYT in the course of time’;

• Media commentator Mark Seddon will talk about opportunities in niche publications;

• Stephan Marzen, publishing director of the Rheinische Post Media Group, talks about how his company is responding to changes in media usage;

• ppiMedia’s Norbert Ohl advocates central sales organisations to improve service for advertising clients, increase sales and eliminate parallel organisations;

Moderator is Dean Roper, editor-in-chief of WAN-Ifra’s publications department.

Other speakers include economist Markus Ruppe (managing director of ZMG), and Alfredo Triviño, director of innovation at

News International in London.

A media production day, May 11, includes ideas about online opportunities, including Christof Förtsch of Willmy MediaGroup on web-to-Media.
