Despite issues associated with Chapter 11 restructuring of Kodak and its US companies, the $1 billion-plus business is growing profitably in Asia.

That’s the message from ANZ managing director Adrian Fleming, who quotes a string of market segments with double-digit growth.

Among these is newspaper (12 per cent annual growth rate) and digital printing solutions, which grew by 40 per cent.

The newspaper market is particularly strong in India and China, while digital growth includes the installation of two Prosper inkjet systems in each of Japan andSouth korea.
