XMediaLab brings its XML Perth conference event for creative industries back to Western Australia next month.
The pitch is “for anyone who wants to develop stories that are immersive, engaging, cross platform and interactive”.
The XML Perth Pro-Day conference is at the State Theatre Centre of WA on April 13 from 9.00am - 5.00pm, and is followed by a networking reception.
Speakers include Jaunique Sealey, Lady Gaga’s LA-based ‘Born This Way’ online marketer; Dan Hon Nike global interactive creative director at Wieden + Kennedy; leading Indonesian mobile entrepreneur Shinta Dhanuwardoyo (founder of Buba.com and co-chairperson of the Indonesia Mobile Marketing Association; and Harvard University fellow Dr Beth Coleman, who wrote ‘Hello Avatar: Rise of the Networked Generation’.
Also on the glittering list are speakers who can list among their clients and collaborators Google, YouTube, Disney/Pixar, Microsoft, Coca Cola, Sony, Nintendo, Lucasfilm, Red Bull, BBC, Hugo Boss, Nokia and MTV.
The event will also present the latest trends and opportunities in China, India and SE Asia.
