Jerome Laredo, previously sales vice president for Atex’s EMEA region, has been appointed chief executive for Asia.
Laredo joined Atex in 2008 and spearheaded the company’s expansion into a number of emerging markets as EMEA sales VP, with a strong focus on digital products. He brings more than 15 years of software sales experience.
The appointment, based at the company’s new Asia’s headquarters in Singapore, comes with immediate effect, and will see him support and guide the region’s accelerated growth and development, to a multi-industry digital content and advertising innovator.
Laredo held roles in EMEA for Nstein Technologies, Teleglobe and Ixiasoft, where he was instrumental in building sales teams, developing resellers' channels and driving new business. He holds an MSc in International Business from HEC Montréal.
Atex Group chief executive Jim Rose says he has an exceptional record of leading businesses through expansion: “We are delighted to have someone of his calibre on board, to propel Atex Asia through its next stage of growth. His leadership and experience will be invaluable to our team.”
Atex, headquartered in the UK with offices worldwide, now provides software solutions for a range of media-rich industries, and has more than 1000 customers.
