A further rebrand has seen the former The Newspaper Works and PANPA merged into a single organisation owned by Fairfax Media, News Corp Australia and Seven West Media's West Australian Newspapers.

A one-day Inform News Media Summit now replaces the PANPA conference of past years, with the former PANPA Newspaper of the Year awards - rebranded as the News Media Awards - presented on its final evening.
