Upgrade adds ad goal features

A new release of Newscycle's advertising software includes expanded sales reporting tools, a CRM dashboard and user interface enhancements.

The company says media companies will also get deeper insights into sales performance with goal-measurement tracking designed to improve sales forecasting and reporting.

Marketing solutions director of product strategy Donna Beasley says the 2014.2 version also includes a tablet ad-booking feature for the OneView browser application: "Field sales reps, in-house salespeople and managers all have the tools and information they need at their fingertips, which helps to make them more productive," she says.

The new CRM Pipeline Dashboard gives greater insight into sales funnels, revenue opportunities and goal progress, with goals reported per sales rep and per print or digital goal type. Additional features include sales performance and opportunity workflow reporting tools.

Digital inventory tools include features to streamline booking digital inventory, with improvements to search functionality which allow users to save searches and export results.

The OneView tablet booking feature verifies print inventories, and handles ad-proofing and booking confirmations. Other features include the ability to create new leads and customers and assign a sales rep, connect events to customers, view reminders and copy tasks.

A new Adobe Photoshop plug-in integrates digital ads into MediaLink, streamlining digital ad production, with the synced to the Google DFP ad server.
