Atex says daily newspapers in Australia and Malaysia have signed for its Polopoly web CMS, while a customer in Vietnam has gone live with a new website.

In Malaysia, newspaper and magazine publisher Kumpulan Karangkraf will use Polopoly and Atex advertising to help strengthen business initiatives around targeted advertising, and to enhance the value of content across multiple channels.

The company has been using Atex content management since 2006 for its daily ‘Sinar Harian’.

At Shepparton in central Victoria, the McPherson Media group will use Polopoly integrated with an Atex digital asset management system to increase newsroom efficiency at the ‘Shepparton News’, allowing seamless creation of multichannel content. An existing advertising system will be upgraded.

Vietnamese daily ‘Nhan Dan’ (‘People’s Daily’) has launched a new website at www.nhandan.org.vn using Polopoly. At a ceremony celebrating the installation, editor-in-chief Mr. Huynh said the implementation met schedule and requirements. “Based on the new technology, we are confident that we will constantly develop the website to better meet the growing needs of readers.”
