A reminder that WAN-Ifra’s World Printers Summit takes place in Vienna next week (October 8-9).
If you haven’t already made arrangements, start by visiting the event website for details and to book a place.
The one-of-a-kind event presents an annual meeting point for the global print community, addressing all print related questions and bringing together printers, equipment and materials suppliers. Apart from face-to-face contact with vendors from prepress to press and to product finishing and delivery, WPS offers round tables and the opportunity to engage directly with newspaper production executives and print experts.
A topic for this year is how technology will impact newspaper production, with attention turning beyond automation and improved production equipment to solutions to enhance efficiency and sustainability, both financially and environmentally.
The two-day provides insights “into the future and the present” with a combination of meetings with suppliers and conference sessions.
Supplier participants include DCOS, ECO3, Ferag ,Flint Group, Kodak, Koenig & Bauer, Krause, manrolandGoss, Norske Skog, Palm, Perlen Papier, QIPC-EAE, S&S, Techniweb and UPM, while speakers come from the New York Times, Rodi Groep, Funke Mediengruppe, the Globe and Mail, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung,
