Crossmedia systems developer DTI showcased a new digital video facility it calls DTItv at INMA’s congress in New York last week. Marketing vice president Steve Nilan says the aim was to show the industry the news video possibilities of its ContentPublisher module in conjunction with the hosted Cloud being rolled out in North America and Europe. "Our clients are adding more and more video content to their websites and we were able to show that our unified CMS solution supports video just as well as it does print, web and mobile. DTItv not only spotlights the digital video capabilities within DTI ContentPublisher, it also demonstrates the high availability of DTI Cloud. “DTItv is our own channel which we will continue to use to broadcast and stream video from our website which is, of course, built with our software and hosted by Cloud." A team interviewed many congress attendees and produced segments that ran during the three-day conference, focussing on key themes such as creating value for subscribers and advertisers, integrated advertising sales, paid content, competing in a new digital age, and what new platforms might mean for news organisations.
