Viocorp holds news reporting forum, wins in business awards

 Web broadcasting company Viocorp is among finalists in this year's Telstra Business Awards. Acknowledged in the two categories – the AMP innovation award and Panasonic Australia medium business award – the achievement vrowns an outstanding year for the company.

Executive chairman Ron McCulloch says the announcement is the culmination of an amazing year: “Everyone in the business deserves credit for delivering some truly significant work to our growing list of national and international clients",” he says.

Viocorp has also been recognised in Anthill's ‘Smart 100’, developed to identify and rank Australia's 100 most innovative products.

• Viocorp is broadcasting online, a series of ‘Future Forums’ which explore sectors being transformed by digital media technology. Next up is ‘The Future of News Reporting’ (July 9) with panellists including Sky News Channel chief executive Angelos Frangepoloulos, ‘Crikey’ publisher Eric Beecher, PANPA chief executive Mark Hollands, Ogilvy PR media director Sam North and writer Stilgherrian. The session is moderated by Mark Jones, director of Filtered Media.
